Wells City Harriers

There was a good turn out of Wells City Harriers from juniors (u11s) through to veterans at the recent Somerset County AA Cross-Country Championships held at the traditional venue of the University of Bath. Harriers were drawn from both the Wells-based training squads (training at Street on Mondays & Tuesdays) and from the Yeovil-based training squad (training at Yeovil track on a Tuesday). Read on to see the gallery of photographs taken on the day by Al Thorner - thank you Al. If there is any parent or senior Harrier who was present who can write us a more detailed report for the website please send it to Paul  - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. (the report should carry the usual detail about conditions underfoot, description of course, weather, how many ran, and any other relevant information to convey something about a particular athlete or race, please).

Also a reminder that Wednesday (11th December) is the 183rd running of the Street 5k - enter/register on the  night; bring your number if you've run previously this Series. All making their debut at the Street 5k or posting a new 5k best this season will be able to claim their Bullbeggar Cider. ALL that compete (& the marshals) will also receive a small package of Radfords Fine Fudge! Mince pies for all afterwards.

Check the Team tab here for deadlines for the two regional cross-country Championships coming up.
