Wells City Harriers

"A FRIENDLY RUNNING CLUB THAT WELCOMES ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES"

The Harriers have been in action in two Cross country League matches in the past few weeks. The Wessex League fixture doubled up as the Dorset XC Championships whilst the Gwent XC League saw bigger fields as it brought a huge horde of runners from across the border in Wales to compete at Blaise Castle Country Park just to the north of the built up area of Bristol. There were some great individual performances! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Keep on training over the festive period....

The last and biggest race of the day was the Senior Mens race with 453 runners competing over a fast 9.3km course

Wells had 5 runners in this race and were keen to win enough points to keep the club near the top of Senior Mens Divison 3.
