This evening sees the annual Parlauf event taking place on the track at Millfield.

How it works:

Turn up by 6.25pm and register in Announcers Hut - pay your training fee

Advise Jon James of your current 5k time

Warm up at 6.30-6.40pm

Lots drawn matching 1 quicker runner with 1 slower runner (based on estimate of 5k times)

The pairs of runners take it in turn to run 400m reps over a half hour period 6.45-7.15pm.

The pair that runs the greastest number of laps wins! (Prizes for first 2 or 3 pairs)

Move to the local pub for the Curry night and awards 8pm-9pm
