Now into its 30th season, we shall see editions 175 to 180 take place - every 2nd Wednesday of the month October 2018 to March 2019.
The Series now properly called the Clive & Angela Thomas Street 5k series was started by Clive back in 1989 as a way of ensuring a monthly time trial for those who wanted to be encouraged to get quicker. Angela was a key part of the finish line crew for many years. They are both sadly missed, but the Series lives on. Our thanks to our dedicated band of marshals, finish line recorders, and other helpers. Race Director is Ed Tickner.
JUNIORS: there is also a 1km race for those aged 8 upwards, especially suited for School Years 5 and 6.; and a 2km race for those in School years 7 & 8. Beat the course records!
Fast, flat road circuit of 1km with timing, via clock, every lap, and marshals on every corner providing encouragement.
Tea & cakes afterwards in race HQ at United Reform Church hall, opposite Living Homes store, off High Street, Street.
ENTRY FORM on dedicated webpage - Entry on night only. Arrive early to avoid the queue!
Bad weather? The race has only every been postponed once across the 30 years. If there is very bad snow, meaning that we can't get to Street and run the event safely, then a notice will be posted on the Harrier website.
